LINUX DRIVER FOR LEXMARK Z25 Z35 PRINTER

Driver for z25 z34 and z35 linux printer for linux Slackware 10.0, mandrake 9.0 9.1 9.2 10.0 official 10.1 community, knoppix 3.6.

1 Deconnect the printer from the computer.

2 Download the driver :

DRIVER LINUX Z25 Z35 LEXMARK

3 Decompress the file.

4 Go into the z25_z35 folder.

5 Execute the setup file. THIS WILL AUTOMATICALLY STOP THE COMPUTER.

6 When the computer is off, connect the printer to the computer.

7 Restart the computer.

8 Configure the printer by cups (url : http://localhost:631/)

9 In kprinter (command line) choose cups for the system.

10 For openoffice.org : Execute ./spadmin in the root folder of openoffice.org.

Select generic printer, properties and modify the command by : lpr-cups .

11 Choose the same command line in the printer for mozilla.

Remark :

This is a Lexmark driver (not free).
